THE annual five-a-side tournament at Henbury Old Boys Football Club took place at the weekend.

Teams from across Bristol and the surrounding area turned up to play in the event, which has been going for 10 years.

Youngsters, aged between seven and 16, battled it out in the rain on Saturday and Sunday to win their groups.

Club treasurer Charles Barron said: "The weather did affect play a bit – it was the first time in 10 years we have had rain for this event. But we still carried on playing and everyone had a great time."
