Guards! Guards! is a fantasy comedy based on Terry Pratchett's best selling Discworld novel of the same name.

It tells the story of the slightly inept Night Watch of the great city of Ankh-Morpork as they attempt to unravel the mystery surrounding the appearance of a fire breathing dragon, hell bent on taking the city for itself.

Director Rob Creer said: "I have been a fan of Terry Pratchett's Disc- world for the last 22 years and the Night Watch have always been firm favourites with me. It's been a real joy to bring these characters to life. The play itself is full of jokes and satire of our own world, which is very insightful."

Spokesman James Murden said: "We are extremely excited about this show and ticket sales are doing well, partly thanks to Sir Terry himself tweeting about our production."

Tickets cost £8 and concessions are £7.

They are available from the box office on 0844 332 0230 or the website www.sodburyplayers.org.uk.
