Planting the seeds of tree growing for Bristol gardeners
Gardeners from Bristol are being invited to a free tree-planting talk being held at a garden centre.
The talk will take place at Whitehall Garden Centre on Norton Lane in Whitchurch on Wednesday, November 25, at 2pm and ties in with The Tree Council's National Tree Week, which runs from then until Sunday, December 6.
Garden centre manager David Manning said: "During the talk, members from our horticultural team will be chatting to customers about all aspects of tree planting and care.
"They will be advising customers on which trees are best for small gardens or for blocking out unsightly features. Now is the ideal time for tree planting and we hope that as many people as possible will join us for this free talk."
The Tree Council's National Tree Week is the UK's largest tree celebration. It was first held in 1975.
