Pitbulls face double weekend test in continuing bid for silverware
Bristol Pitbulls are back in action this weekend in the ENHL CUP group stage with the chance to qualify for the semi-finals with games to spare.
The Bristol Pitbulls face off on Saturday against the Basingstoke Buffalo who lie second in Bristol's group and 24 hours later player/coach Rich Hargreaves takes his team on the short trip to Swindon to take on the Wildcats who are third.

Hargreaves gave his players last weekend off after their 13-2 home win over Slough Jets was followed by a 2-2 draw in Cardiff against the Dragons a fortnight ago.
Bristol can advance to the semi-finals if they secure the four points that two wins offer, allowing them to rotate their squad for the remaining group ties.
Hargreaves told the Evening Post: "This weekend is huge for us, we are in a good shape at the moment in the cup with our two victories over Wightlink (Tigers), but we still have three more tough teams to beat and two of those games are against league leaders Solent & Gosport.
"We are back to full strength this weekend after missing several players both days in our league clash against Slough and Cardiff, we've had the weekend off so guys are well rested. We are looking forward to the challenge that will hopefully take us a step closer to our first chance of silverware this season."
The Pitbulls host Basingstoke at the Bristol Ice Rink on Frogmore Street on Saturday (5.55pm).
Tickets are: Adults £6, Children £3 Concessions £4.50, Family £15.

“Watching the ice-hockey is a great night out for the family. The Pitbulls are an excellent and successful team. If only the rink wasn't such a dump I believe the place would be packed of supporters. C'mon - owners clean it up!!!”
