Phillips off to Turkey as Rhys Evans signs for Bristol Rovers
Bristol Rovers' first-choice goalkeeper Steve Phillips is in negotiations with a Turkish side - as former Pirate Rhys Evans signs a one-month deal at the Memorial Stadium.
Evans, a former Chelsea trainee who spent four games on loan at Bristol Rovers in 2000, has been on trial at the club and earned a month-long contract alongside 21-year-old loan signing Fraser Forster from Newcastle United.
