Peter King won the RT Keedwell Transport Trophy in the North Somerset Club's hour-long Timed and Observation Trial.

He lost only three marks on observation – in the first of six sections.

Paul Manning was second, ahead of Stuart Bowden, riding an Enduro KTM. Neither he nor Jeremy Walters lost any marks on observation but they both lost more marks on time than Welsh challenger Simon Wearmouth.

Ten class winners in the National Sprint Association's quarter-mile championship meeting at Keevil, in Wiltshire, reached terminal speeds in excess of 100mph. Fastest were Ronnie Law and Dave Massam.

Bristol's John May is the new Remedies Bar Moto-X champion as a result of the cancellation of the 14th of the 16-round series near Hatherleigh, in Devon, owning to a waterlogged track. Darren Shears is the 125/250 champion and Brett Wheeler moves up to expert status after winning the junior title.

The minor positions in all three championships are still to be decided.
