He said: "I cannot believe the amazing response to my 2012 tour and to be adding eight more dates is just phenomenal. I owe it all to my fans who have been brilliant. I cannot wait to start the tour, it is going to be the best yet."
Although currently recording the follow up to his platinum selling album Revelation and Accelerate he will perform all of hit hits, including Mysterious Girl, in the city on Saturday, January 12.
The former I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here star's visits to the city have always drawn large crowds. In 2010 more than 3,000 people packed into Asda Longwell Green for a book signing, while in 2009 fans camped out in Yate Shopping Centre to make sure they got to see their idol turn on the Christmas lights.
