Penny's visit to Pakistan
A BRITISH Red Cross employee who grew up in Bristol is in Pakistan to see how people are coping six months after floods left millions without homes, food or an income.
Penny Sims, 36, was born in the city, but now lives in London working for the Red Cross as a communications delegate.

She is currently visiting he Sukkur and Sindh provinces to report on the progress being made since the natural disaster wiped out 1.7 million homes, and the needs that are still to be addressed.
She said: "The floods in Pakistan may have begun six months ago, but the disaster is far from over."
More than four million people are without adequate shelter and millions more are in need of food and other aid in Pakistan, with flood water still engulfing huge areas.
