Pedestrian dies in Radstock after collision
POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision this morning.
They were alerted to an incident at about 4.20am on the A367 in Radstock, near to the Bath Road service station hand car wash.

A pedestrian was reported to have been in collision with a vehicle travelling along the road.
It is believed the pedestrian was lying in the road and was hit by a vehicle travelling along the road.

The man was later confirmed dead at the scene.
Police are treating the death as unexplained.
The road was closed to enable a detailed investigation of the scene.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area or had travelled along the road shortly before the incident was reported.
So far officers have been unable to confirm the identify of the dead man.
