Peddle power takes young Bristol cyclists nowhere
Young cyclists tested their stamina at a free racing event on Harbourside – without leaving the Mud Dock venue.
Rollapaluza involved adults, teenagers and children racing against each other in 500m sprints on bikes that were fixed to the floor to see who could complete the distance fastest.

The £1,800 event was funded through the Cycling City scheme to promote greater use of bikes to get around.
It was also used as a South West regional round for a final to be held in London later.
