Paulton keep it tight at the back
PAULTON responded to boss Nick Bunyard's appeal to tighten up at the back as they took a useful point at North Leigh in Division One South & West of the Evo-Stik Southern League.
The visitors came close to a goal early on when Charlie Rich's cross was cleared as far as Josh Jeffries, whose shot was turned over the crossbar by goalkeeper Sam Worrell.
North Leigh's best chances fell to John Mills and Ryan Brooks, but they were denied by Rovers goalkeeper Kyle Phillips.
Rich created an opening at the other end, but he was thwarted by Worrell as the game remained goalless.
