Paulton Rovers 0 Thatcham Town 1: Paulton Rovers' poor end-of-season run continued as they slumped to another home defeat, this time against a Thatcham Town side still pressing for a place in the play-offs.

The result hinged around a 39th- minute incident when Paulton went down to 10 men as goalkeeper Kyle Phillips was red-carded for bringing down Thatcham's Stefan Brown.

Defender Stuart Tovey took over in goal and excelled himself with a series of fine saves until the 81st minute, when Thatcham scored the only goal of the game.

A corner was played deep to the far post for Paul Taplin to get above the Rovers defence and score with a header.
