Paulton Rovers 1 Slough Tn 2: Paulton Rovers paid the penalty for failing to turn their early dominance into goals as they lost 2-1 to Slough Town.

Rovers missed a good chance of taking a ninth-minute lead when Robbie Claridge's header was blocked by goalkeeper Jamie Jackson.

Slough went close after 18 minutes when James Pritchard crossed Danny Jordan brought a good save from goalkeeper Kyle Phillips and in the resultant goalmouth scramble it needed a desperate challenge from Dan Cleverley to block the follow up shot from Yashwa Romeo.

Slough took a 52nd-minute lead when a free-kick from the right was headed home by Eamonn McConigley.

Slough scored a second after 69 minutes and Paulton got an injury-time consolation when Burborough's header was saved and Dan Cleverley volleyed the rebound in.

Paulton sub Ollie Price was then sent off.
