PAULTON Rovers striker Robbie Claridge and skipper Dan Cleverley – both surprisingly on the bench for Saturday's drawn FA Trophy game against visiting Thatcham Town – are expected to return to the starting line up for tonight's replay.

"Robbie had a slight ankle problem so I decided to put him and Dan on the bench with this Saturday's FA Cup tie at Horsham in mind, but we created enough chances to have beaten Thatcham on Saturday without them," said manager Andy Jones.

Both are expected to return to the starting line up for tonight's game but they are without midfielder Jon French who suffered a heel injury in the final minutes of Saturday's game which needed stitches.

Defender Steve Tovey has not recovered from the knee ligament injury which could keep him out for another couple of weeks.
