Paulton Rovers 2 Andover 2

A controversial late penalty gave struggling Andover a point and probably ended Paulton Rovers' hopes of making a late surge into the BGB Southern League Division One South and West play-offs.

After a goalless first half, Andover took the lead on the hour when Lloyd Webber capitalised on a mix-up between Mike Trought and goalkeeper Courtney Redwood.

Paulton equalised on 71 minutes when Robbie Claridge headed Matt Crew's cross past David Hook and four minutes later Claridge set up Dan Cleverley, who put the home side in front.

However, with ten minutes left, Jon French was adjudged to have handled in the Paulton box and Kyle Swayne equalised from the penalty spot.
