Partnership with new county cup sponsor will benefit all clubs

Stuart Canvas Products have agreed to become the new

sponsor of the Gloucestershire County Cup.

As part of the deal the covers specialists will offer

£500 worth of their products to the winning club.

The company has also signed up to a payment

partnership with the Gloucestershire Cricket Board that will benefit clubs throughout

the county.

 

A percentage of any deal made with a Gloucestershire

club will go into a special fund that will be used by the GCB to support facility

based small award grants. This will complement the fund  the GCB receive from the ECB to support Clubmark

registered clubs.

 

They will also be able to take advantage of special offers that

are exclusive to GCB affiliated members. 

 

Steve Silk, GCB Cricket Development Manager said: "Stuart Canvas

Products are of extremely high quality and we are pleased to be able to enter

into an agreement with them that will benefit our clubs. Along with similar

deals with Gray Nicolls and Globe Sports, this partnership is another example

of the GCB working with some of the top companies in cricket to secure the best

possible deal for our members."

 

All clubs have to do to qualify for relevant discounts and ensure

a percentage goes to the GCB club fund is to quote the "Gloucestershire Cricket

Board Partnership," when they agree to purchase equipment from Stuart Canvas.

 

Clint Hillhouse, Stuart Canvas Products and national cricket

GCB, ourselves and clubs in Gloucestershire."

 

In addition to covers, Stuart Canvas also offers

sightscreens, netting, scoreboards and equipment for a range of other sports

including tennis, football and horse racing.
