Parking solution for Bristol City supporters?
T he old railway freight liner yard at West depot, South Liberty Lane, as a place for Bristol City supporters to park their cars on match days - why stop at that? If the new football stadium is built this place can be used again for supporters to park their cars.
If Land Trusts Development get permission to build houses at Ashton Vale, get them to build a railway station and a park and ride site here. It is ideally situated to serve any new housing development.
They have submitted plans to build houses and other amenities at Ashton Vale but have omitted a railway station. This cannot be right - why is it they do not want to build a new railway station?
If a new station park and ride was built at the freight liner yard, it could still be used for football supporters to park their cars. There is a lot of disused land here.
