Pair in court accused of multiple drug offences

Two men accused of supplying heroin and crack cocaine have appeared in court.

Eugene Loveridge, 23, of Satchfield Crescent, Henbury, and Jamie Shean, 33, of Campbells Farm Drive, Lawrence Weston, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court via video link on Friday.

Loveridge faces 12 drug- related charges and Shean faces 11.

Loveridge is accused of three counts of possession of heroin with intent to supply; three counts of possession of heroin; two counts of possession of crack with intent to supply; two counts of possession of crack; one count of being concerned in the supplying of 0.31g of crack, and the same offence for 6.14g of heroin.

All were alleged to have taken place in Bristol on April 15 this year.

Shean is accused of three counts of possession of heroin with intent to supply; three counts of possession of heroin; two counts of possession of crack with intent to supply; two counts of possession of crack, and one count of possession of cannabis.

All offences are alleged to have happened in Thissell Street, Easton, on April 15 or 16 this year.

The case was adjourned until May 29 for committal to Bristol Crown Court.

Loveridge was released on conditional bail. Shean was remanded in custody.
