Pair arrested in £200k Bristol fraud inquiry
Two people have been arrested in a £200,000 fraud investigation involving a Bristol-based property agency which shut without warning.
Police say that they and trading standards officers have had a "significant number" of complaints of alleged fraud in relation to the activities of Belluton Property Bureau, which was based in Wells Road, Knowle.

Pair arrested in £200k Bristol fraud inquiry
A 52-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman from Clevedon have been arrested and bailed in connection with the inquiry.
Police say the allegations date from between February and May, and relate to the alleged fraudulent use of cash belonging to landlords and tenants.
Officers say the amount of the alleged fraud is believed to be in excess of £200,000.
Police have asked that anyone who had dealings with Belluton, particularly during the period specified, and anyone else with information about the firm's activities to contact Bristol CID on 0845 456 7000 or the Crimestoppers line, which is on 0800 555 111.
Last month the Evening Post reported how Belluton's offices in Wells Road had shut and that all contact phone numbers had been disconnected. Tenants and landlords contacted the Post to complain that they were owed cash handed over for deposits and feared they would not get the money back.
Keys that were left with the company were also unaccounted for.
At the time it is believed that Belluton had more than 100 properties across Bristol on its books.
