Paige sets shining example
A Bristol College is supporting the new 2012 Business Challenge campaign run by business development company Young Millionaires in partnership with Filton College, Hartpury College and Cirencester College.
Five employees have been selected out of a large 396 applications to take part in the first course 'Entrepreneur of 2012', which is being piloted by Young Millionaires. All those selected to take part either wanted to develop their work skills, had been identified by managers, develop their business or create their own business.
Two candidates who have shown the most progression in a short period of time got the chance to meet Lord Alan Sugar in his offices in London.
Paige O'Brien, 18, from Downend was proudly selected to meet Lord Alan by business entrepreneur Jamil Ahmed who works for the LNB in Birmingham.

Mr Ahmed says "I met Paige 6 months ago at a business event held at the NEC in Birmingham. I knew from the moment I met Paige that she has talent. Regardless to working for the NHS, many charities, Bristol City Council and mentoring young people on a daily basis, Paige is always on the ball, keeps up with the work and attends every meeting and event. Every meeting I have attended she has always shown interest in all aspects of the business sectors as well as giving unique ideas. I can see a bright future ahead for Paige, she has great intentions."
The second candidate chosen to meet Lord Alan Sugar was 16 year old Neil Biggs from Patchway. Janet Evans, manager of the course says Neil has made excellent progress for his age.
Bailey Rickets says "Our Entrepreneurs are committed, have positive attitudes and are eager to work and learn because they want to be here."
