Owl helps teach Bristol pupils principles of flight
Pupils at a south Bristol primary have been wising up on the principles of flight – with the help of an owl.
The children at Knowle Park Primary had the chance to watch birds of prey as part of their science week.

Other activities included kite-making workshops, stunt kite displays, visits to the helicopter museum in Weston-super-Mare and talks from aeronautical engineers.
Pupils also had the chance to make "fizzy" rockets, gliders and jet balloon fliers.
Deputy head teacher Andy Dewey said: "This week is all part of our aim of delivering a curriculum that is exciting and memorable for the children.
"In fact we want them to find school irresistible."
