Overturned vehicle causes major rush-hour delays on M5 motorway
A crash on the M5 motorway has caused major delays in North Somerset and Bristol this evening.
A vehicle overturned on the southbound carriageway at Avonmouth Bridge between junction 18 for the M49 at Bristol and junction 19 for the A369 to Portishead.

One lane was closed in both directions while emergency services were at the scene, causing lengthy tailbacks.
Traffic was queued back as far as junction 15 on the southbound stretch of the M5, while northbound drivers also encountered delays from junction 21 for Weston-super-Mare onwards.
