The festival season in Bristol is not over yet, with the Organic Food Festival taking place this weekend.

The Organic Food Festival takes place on the Harbourside and is Europe's largest showcase of the organic community, with hundreds of organic products, an organic bar, cooking demonstrations with Raymond Blanc, Barny Haughton, Mitch Tonks and other top chefs, children's taste workshops and a lively street food bazaar.

A festival spokesperson said: "The purpose of the Organic Food Festival is to bring together and expand our organic community. We want to introduce more people to the pioneers growing delicious organic food in a way that is truly sustainable."

Entry to the festival is £5 and free for children and Soil Association members.

“It was quite expensive once inside, perhaps more expensive than Waitrose. It was quite telling that I saw a lot of people leave the 'festival' and go straight to Pizza Express down the road for lunch.

That after visiting a so called food festival.”

“Fancy paying 5 quid to let stall holders (who also pay) try and flog you stuff...my advice is go to Waitrose, you dont have to pay to get in there.”
