Bela Bakos finished more than 14-0-0 ahead of the field in the Avon Angling Open match, fished at Bullock Farm.

The Avon Angling rod long-poled paste between the islands off peg 17 on the chicken shed bank and weighed in 21 carp and bits totalling 66-13-0.

Second was Mosella's Tony Rixon, who used a variety of baits at peg two to tempt 16-8-0 of fantails, hybrids, roach and crucians, plus 35-8-0 of proper carp. Lewis Jones topped the silverfish list with a 16-13-0 mixed bag, taken at Bridge Peg 24 using both long and short poles with a variety of baits.
