Open-air Shakespeare production planned for Bristol Zoo
An open-air production of Shakespeare’s Henry V will be performed in the grounds of Bristol Zoo next month.
The classic tale of a young king wrestling with his conscience, leading a small, weakened army into the battle of Agincourt against the French battalions will be performed in the zoo’s 12-acre gardens on the evening of Thursday, July 19.
Illyria is an intrepid band of five actors. Now in its 21st year, they have won four international awards for their Shakespeare performances.
The production is suitable for all ages.
