Hanham Minor League Under-11s: Oldland Abbotonians had to fight all the way to emerge 4-1 overall victors over Southmead CS.

There was nothing to choose between the sides in this Division D tussle to begin with as the first half of game one ended goalless.

Oldland opened the scoring through Ben Sayers after a strong run from defence by Sam Blake.

Southmead equalised through Bradley Allen, then strong defending and fantastic goalkeeping by Oldland's Owen Trump ensured a 1-1 first-match draw.

The second game began in much the same vein as the first had done, with two well-matched teams in deadlock at the interval.

Oldland's incisive passing game eventually proved the difference, as Curtis Bragg netted twice and Josh Harris grabbed the other goal in a 3-0 success.

Jack Georgewill bagged a first-game hat-trick as Bristol United gained a 14-4 aggregate away victory over Cadbury Heath in Division C.

Star man Marcel Spaulding, James Williams, Abdi Malik Aweys and Lewis Darbon (2) also hit the target as United, with Jamal Alexander and keeper Jordan Kearns playing their part well, secured the first game 8-2.

Man-of-the-match Khari Ferguson was a hat-trick man in game two to help United finish the job in style. Billy Cochrane (2) and Hisham Ali were also among the goalscoring as they completed a 6-2 second-game success, helped by some super saves from Aaron Finch.

Warmley Rangers continued their impressive Division B form with a hard-fought victory over Highridge.

Leading 2-1 from the first game, Warmley eventually saw off Highridge with five goals without reply in game two to record a 7-1 aggregate win.

Charlie Knight headed Warmley into a first-half lead, only for Highridge to respond with a fine finish.

Toby Sawyer settled the contest with a fine left-shot that beat the Highridge keeper at his near post.

In the second game, Sam Lewis headed home a Jordan Sirl corner to put Warmley ahead late in the first period.

In the second half, Rangers took control with a hat-trick by player-of-the-match Max Burdon and a headed goal from Cash Vinnal.

Keynsham Town kept up their 100 per cent winning record in Division B with a 4-3 victory against a good St Nicholas team. The first game was an even affair with Keynsham struggling to contain Saints' exceptionally quick striker.

In the second half, Keynsham had keeper Mason Bean to thank for securing a 3-3 draw as he made several blocks.

Keynsham's goals came from Josh Black's long-distance effort, Owen Cocking's close-range flick and Lewis Coleman's side-footed finish.

Keynsham were much more dominant in the second game, but good goalkeeping ensured they never put the game to bed.

Striker James Ellis got the goal from a yard out after Robbie Dury's fine effort had been blocked.

Division A newcomers Avon Athletic had an 11-0 win away against Longwell Green.

On target for Avon were player-of-the-match Ollie Shopland, who scored four goals, Ben Trueman (2), including a fine headed effort, Jonathan Paisley, Robert Smyth, Pieter Beechgood and the impressive Tyler Wilson, who netted twice in the second match to claim the star man honours.
