'Old Stager' Adams ready to resume Bristol's title challenge
Jack Adams has promised that Bristol will show Birmingham & Solihull the same respect they would give Exeter when the Championship strugglers visit the Memorial Stadium tomorrow.
Birmingham have lost all 11 league matches this season and are 32 points adrift at the bottom of the table after having 15 points deducted for going into voluntary liquidation in October.

But they pushed Bristol all the way when the sides met in September, scoring three tries before suffering a 40-36 defeat.
Bristol's performance that day enraged head coach Paul Hull – but his side are gradually learning to cope with the tag of being favourites.
And centre Adams says Bristol will not be resting on their laurels when they face the Bees tomorrow.
"We have played every team in the Championship now, so we know what to expect and what is being asked of us," said Adams.
"Perhaps that wasn't the case earlier in the season – and when we played Birmingham & Solihull it was only our second game. But we know what we can deliver now – and we won't be treating this game differently to any other.
"If anything, we are more determined to win, because a lot of the senior players have had a couple of weeks off and are really desperate to play.
"It doesn't matter whether it's Birmingham or Exeter this weekend – we'll treat them exactly the same, because everyone wants to play and play as well as they can.
"If you don't play well, your place is going to be up for grabs, so there is a bit of pressure on the boys who are playing this weekend."
Adams has started nine of Bristol's 11 league games since his summer move from Gloucester – but he, along with a host of frontline players, was rested during the two recent British & Irish Cup matches.
Now he is feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the all-important second half of the Championship campaign.
"You want to be playing every week, but to have a couple of weekends off with the family during the season is also nice," said Adams.
"I had a whole week off before the Neath game and then came in for a training week before Munster, so I'm feeling really good at the moment. If you have a little bit of time off, it makes you want it even more.
"All of the lads who are coming back in can't wait to get out there on Sunday now."
Despite being only 23, Adams is considered one of the senior players at Bristol – and was happy to see the positive impact made by Academy teenagers such as George Watkins, Jack Gadd, Mako Vunipola, Ben Glynn and Darren Barry during the British & Irish Cup games at Neath and Munster.
"It's a little bit weird being considered a senior player when I've just turned 23, but it's also quite nice," said Adams. It's great to be thought of in that way, but on the other hand, it makes me think that the clock is ticking and I'm getting on a bit!
"It's not just in the last couple of games that the younger lads have impressed – they did it in pre-season and have been doing it all season in training.
"A lot of those boys have really taken their chances and they wouldn't look out of place in the Championship."
Prop Vunipola and lock Barry could get opportunities to prove that this weekend after being named on the bench for tomorrow's match.
Head coach Hull makes 12 personnel changes to the side beaten 18-6 by Munster A in Nenagh eight days ago, with Adams, Luke Arscott, Junior Fatialofa, Tom Arscott, Adrian Jarvis, Robbie Shaw, Alex Clarke, Wayne Thompson, Roy Winters, Iain Grieve, Redford Pennycook and Dan Montagu all returning to the starting line-up.
