Oh boy! Avon make it a hat-trick of UK Sports Hall under-13 titles
AVON team manager Dave Turner paid tribute to the young athletes who clinched the UK Sports Hall under-13 boys' title at the NEC, in Birmingham, for the third successive year.
"It was a wonderful achievement for all involved with the county's Sports Hall athletics," said Turner. "It also equalled the UK record of three consecutive victories and it is now six for Avon since 1990."

The squad was led magnificently by Aaron Realizo (St.Bernadettes), who won gold in the two-lap, silver in the vertical jump and a gold in the 4x2 lap relay.
Taryn Selway Joseph (Priory) was third in the four-lap, while there was also bronze for Reece Trapani (Broadoak) in the six-lap race, just pipping Harvey Flower. They then joined forces to finish second in the eight-lap event.

The 4x1 lap relay team of Declan Walters, Aleron, Dear, Liam Watson and George Hockenhall finished third and in a stirring finale the quartet of Lachlan Mann (City Academy), Hockenhall (Downend), Realizo and Taryn Selway Joseph clinched a superb victory in the 4x2 lap relay.
Star of the show for the under-13 girls was Fairfield's Ella Falk, who ran a tactically excellent race to force her way through on the third lap to win the four-lap race.
The highlight for the under-15 girls was Sophie Thomas equalling her Avon record in the speed bounce. Her score of 95 in 30 seconds was just three off the England record.
"I am pleased with 5th= as it was the highest points total ever achieved by an Avon under-15 Girls team," said team manager Hilary Nash.
For the under-15 boys, Tomas Goodman was 4th= in the four-lap race and, along with Jack Dyer, finished 4th in the eight- lap paarlauf. Cameron Thaws was eighth in the standing long jump with a fine 2.62m.
