Nutland's six of the best peps De Veys
Bristol & Avon League: There's no stopping newcomers De Veys, who enjoyed an 11-1 romp away to depleted Golden Hill Reserves.
John Nutland led the way for the former Suburban League club with a six-goal blast. John Bale weighed in with a hat-trick and the rout was completed by Mark Jones and Ben Gardiner, with Marcus Vowles netting a penalty in reply.
Four goals from Gary Bennett set up a 7-1 home victory for Mendip Reserves against Lawrence Rovers Reserves, who took the lead through Richard Court. Kris Attwell completed the Mendip tally with a hat-trick.
A penalty miss by Chris Walker, which would have levelled the score, proved costly for Greyfriars B in a 6-1 home defeat against Knowle Reds.
The Elliott family had a day to remember with Craig Elliott (2), his brother Gary and their cousins, Ryan and Sam Elliott, all on target. Darren Brett was the other scorer for Reds, with Mark Thomas replying for the Friars.
Dan Golding's hat-trick paved the way for Broad Walk's 7-3 battering of Crown Parkway, who were presented with own goals by Jesse Finn and Ben Griffiths, both of whom also scored at the right end! Craig Fenton struck twice to add to Parkway's misery.
Stefan Burke and his uncle Raphael Burke twice gave Cartmel the lead away to Bradley Stoke A, who hit back to draw 2-2 thanks to Callum Hopper's double.
Wessex Wanderers A also shared four goals with Long Ashton Reserves, who led through Mark Bartlett and Craig Hand only to be pegged back by Steve Fordman and Dean Brace's late penalty.
After a goalless first half, Matt Clark put Bideford OB in front from Shaun Steadman's cross away to Redcliffe, who went on to lose 2-0 after substitute Chris Richards netted with a header in the closing stages.
