North Somerset school shortlisted for national award
A North Somerset school has been shortlisted for a national business award for its catering service.
St Katherine's School, at Ham Green, near Pill, is one of just four schools across the UK to be nominated for a British Educational Suppliers Association educational business award in the school catering category.
Successful nominees are required to demonstrate a commitment to healthy eating and value for money.
Earlier this year, St Katherine's was the first secondary school in the country to achieve the Food for Life silver award and is currently working towards a gold award.
St Katherine's catering manager, Di Lewis, and business manager, Laurence Frewin, have been invited to the event where the winner will be announced.
