Nicholas Wanderers put on a wonder show against Broadwalk
Nicholas Wanderers and Broadwalk produced a stirring display of football but the hosts ran out comfortable winners, with Harry Owens pulling the strings and Jamie Jonas weighing in with a hat-trick.
Before kick-off, players, coaches and parents observed a minute's silence to mark Remembrance Sunday. Thereafter, both teams focused on the job in hand as they began with plenty of attacking intent.

Wanderers' best effort of the opening exchanges came when a good move ended with Toby Werrett hitting the side-netting.
At the other end, Broadwalk's Ryan Radford almost opened the scoring when he released a thunderous shot from 40 yards which sailed a fraction over.
After 15 minutes, Werrett linked with Jonas, who evaded a couple of defenders before shooting at goal, but Broadwalk keeper Olly Searle made a comfortable save.
The deadlock was broken soon afterwards when Owens played Jonas in and this time he left the keeper stranded with a cool finish into the bottom corner of the net.
Declan Jeffaries was next to take aim for Wanderers as they began to assert their authority, but his strike was deflected wide. Then Jonas was put through again, this time by Ryan Hyde, but Searle pulled off an excellent stop with his legs.
Moments later, Jonas returned the favour for Hyde, who somehow managed to fire wide from six yards with the goal at his mercy.
As the half wore on, Wanderers grew increasingly dominant, culminating in one excellent passage of play of one-touch football, which involved virtually every player and saw them move the ball the length of the pitch.
On the half-hour mark, Owens again played Jonas in behind the defence, but a fantastic covering tackle from Broadwalk's Radford snuffed out the danger – and left Jonas feeling the effects into the bargain.
Broadwalk, however, could not keep Wanderers at bay for ever and on 32 minutes a delightfully-weighted pass from Owens released Jonas, who this time used his blistering pace to drive to the edge of the box before firing into the roof of the net for 2-0.
And on the stroke of half-time a wonder strike from Billy Wheeler made it 3-0.
From a free-kick 30 yards from goal, Wheeler smashed the ball into the top corner of the net, leaving Searle completely stranded.
Wanderers started the second half where they had left off in the first, and only some good defending early on from Jaamal Chambers prevented the hosts from stretching their lead.
Broadwalk had a rare chance from a free-kick and only an excellent double save by Joe Lewis kept them out, as first he denied Jack Oaten's dead-ball effort, then somehow recovered in time to block the follow-up from Chad Tolliver.
The visitors were putting on a spirited display and 12 minutes into the half they finally reduced the deficit following good work by Radford. A weak goal-kick and lax defending saw the ball come to Radford on the edge of the box. His first shot hit a post but he slid home the rebound.
Two minutes later, it should have been 3-2 when Lee Clayton put Radford through one-on-one with the keeper, but this time he shot agonisingly wide.
Jonas finally completed his hat-trick with an excellent solo effort which saw him pick the ball up on the left, drive purposefully towards goal, beat two defenders on the way and rifle it into the roof of the net.
Only an acrobatic one-handed save from Searle denied Jonas a fourth as Wanderers started to reassert their authority.
Owens headed against a post as the pressure continued to mount, before the fifth goal came from the boot of Ben Morton. A terrific corner routine led to Jonas playing the ball to the unmarked Morton outside the box and his low, driven shot evaded everybody on its way into the net.
By now, it was largely one-way traffic and the home team made it 6-1 when Jeffaries coolly finished from the edge of the area after some good build-up play from Jonas and Connor Gore, who teed the ball up for the goalscorer to net with the inside of his foot.
The final nail in Broadwalk's coffin came just before the end when a poor goal-kick fell to the grateful Ryan Hyde, who took one touch on the edge of the box before clinically driving the ball into the net.
Broadwalk battled gamely throughout but, even when they threatened, Wanderers' Billy Wheeler and Lonnie Coles were there to mop things up, while the excellent Owens ran the show in the middle of the park.
