From next month ThisisBristol will be getting a new look - and we want to know what you think.
The site will be getting a new home page from February.

But before we launch it we would like to invite some ThisisBristol users in so that we can show you what it's all about and see what you think.

Local World, which owns The Post and ThisisBristol, has so far successfully re-launched the home page for ThisIsExeter and ThisIsDerbyshire.
From top to bottom, the new homepage is designed to bring our users closer to the best and brightest news and information about their community.
It is designed to be quicker and easier for users to do what they want – from breaking news to local comment, from business offers to classified ads.
We will be adding a breaking news “ticker” which our journalists will update throughout the day.
The new navigation bar makes searching the site more intuitive, so whether people want to find out what’s on this weekend, find a jobs, or save money with voucher deals from local businesses, it is all just a click away.

“Get the basics right first:
Spelling;
Grammar;
Punctuation;
Putting Roads in the right areas;
Putting areas in the right parts of Bristol;
Putting places outside of Bristol;
Claiming places outside of Bristol as part of Bristol;
Checking facts before publishing;
Stop confusing adverts with news;
Publishing things which haven't happened (i.e. the "news" that there are no traffic problems).
That's just the glaringly obvious issues.”
