New look for Bristol supermarket
A Bristol supermarket will have a new look thanks to a £100,000 makeover.
The Co-operative store on Shirehampton Road is undergoing the revamp and will now feature the new brand identity.
The community store is being updated with modern decor as well as new fittings and refrigeration, plus a more shopper-friendly layout.
The store also has an in-store bakery.
There will be a wider selection of fresh meat and fruit and vegetables, and the popular lottery and paypoint services will be retained.
Fairtrade foods will feature in store alongside labelling which gives the full facts about its products.
Store manager Tresa Langdale said: "I am confident the new-look store will better meet the daily food shopping needs of the local community.
"The transformed store will be a real asset."
