New faces for Clifton as Twigg departs
CLIFTON Ladies will be without Georgie Twigg when they visit Slough on Saturday in Investec Women's Premier division.
The Great Britain bronze medallist visited the club's Open Day recently and, as well as showing her bronze medal to over 50 youngsters, participated in coaching sessions during the day.

Twigg will be based in London this season where she will play for newly-promoted Surbiton, who visit Clifton at the end of October.
Clifton coach Steve Rixon will have a number of new faces in this season's squad. Steph Addison joins from Surbiton, Rachel Arnold (Loughborough Students) Emily Atkinson (University of Birmingham) Pippa Barnes (Bath) Danielle Jordan (Penarth) and Josie Rixon (Bath).

Harriet Pearce re-joins the team from Hamburg and Abi Porter moves from neighbours Firebrands.
In National Conference West, Firebrands Ladies entertain Buckingham at Clifton College on Saturday (11.30am).
Firebrands also have a number of new recruits. Linda Webb (Exe) Corinne Bury (Gloucester City) Louisa Denman (Horsham) and Laura Catley-Witchard (Yate) have all joined the National Conference West side for the new season.
Newly-promoted Firebrands men's team visit Cardiff/UWIC for their first match on their return to National Conference West after a short absence.
League action in both men's and women's West leagues starts at the end of the month.
