New dates announced for Bristol City and Bristol Rovers

Bristol City and Bristol Rovers have decided which of them will move their fixture on the two occasions they clash next season.

On Tuesday, October 2, City will be at home to Milwall as planned, and Rovers will now play Cheltenham at the Memorial Stadium the following night.

On Saturday, November 10, Rovers will play their home match with Chesterfield as scheduled, while City's Ashton Gate clash with Charlton will now be played on Sunday, November 11 (3pm).

City's two games with Cardiff (Aug 25 and Feb 16) will, on police advice, both kick off at 1pm.

    although we do at least trust that MM will not rush and will get it right this season. last season we lapped up the almost daily news of buckle signing another great buy / freebie and look what happened soon after; we realised many of them were quite poor.”

    “There seems to be a lot of peripheral activity at Ashton Gate just lately - i.e. the appointment of back room staff, testimonial games, adjusting fixtures, etc - but there appears to be one piece of activity missing at present! Mmmm! Wonder what that could be?”
