The annual Bristol Softball Association game took place on Sunday, ​January 3. It was a bright, sunny, cold January afternoon.

Seventeen people turned up to enjoy the fresh air and play softball on the astro at Clifton College Grounds.

There was true commitment from new team Go Balls Deep who made up more of a third of the players.

Three teams were made up with one team batting, one team in the infield and one in the outfield.

The teams rotated so that each team had batted four or five times.

Bristol Softball Asssociation chairman, Chris Moon said: "It was great fun, very invigorating, lots of fresh air, no sliding and then most adjourned to The Mall in Clifton afterwards for liquid refreshment and hot chips."
