New Year's Eve pitch inspection for Bristol Rugby's trip to Cornish Pirates
THERE will be a pitch inspection at Cornish Pirates' Mennaye Field at 2pm tomorrow (Monday), ahead of Bristol's New Year's Day trip to Penzance.
Bristol return to Cornwall for the first time since their Championship play-off humbling in May – and Pirates are confident the match will go ahead.

In a brief message posted on their official website, Pirates said: "We are very confident that the game will go ahead, but with further rain forecast have arranged the pitch inspection to comply with Championship regulations and for common sense reasons."
Bristol's players are due to report to their Clifton RFC training base for a team run tomorrow afternoon, before travelling to Cornwall for the following day's match.
