New £20m Colston Hall foyer is jazzed out
Jazz was the music of choice yesterday as the celebrations marking the opening of Colston Hall's new £20 million foyer continued.
After Friday's grand ceremony, the music carried on and the venue was given over to Jazz Fest yesterday, with legendary South African pianist Abdullah Ibrahim making his debut at the venue as the headline act.

Also playing were Bristol's own international jazz stars Andy Sheppard's Movement in Colours, Get The Blessing and James Morton's Porkchop.
Performers took over both stages in the building.
Celebrations continue this week with highlights including BBC's Nature's Great Events with Sir David Attenborough tomorrow; Beth Rowley on Thursday, and Bristol's own Roni Size on Friday.
