Neighbour on Bristol arson charges
A Bristol man has appeared in court accused of trying to set fire to his own home and a neighbour's.
Kenneth James, of New Walls, Totterdown, faces two charges of attempted arson relating to an incident on Saturday.
The 55-year-old is also accused of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause violence.
Bristol Magistrates yesterday remanded James in custody until May 19, when he will appear at Bristol Crown Court via video link for a preliminary hearing.
