Nailsea's young guns can rekindle former glories
Nailsea United's ambitious boss Chris Adamson believes the club's young reserve players can help rekindle former glories.
Without the departed James Lee and Steve Lester to drive them on, the Premier Division champions have struggled to emulate last season's success and travel to Bishops Lydeard on Saturday 11th in the table after dropping down a place following Wednesday's 3-1 defeat by Mangotsfield Reserves.

They do, however, have a League Cup semi-final away tie with Shirehampton on April 4 to look forward to as they chase a third straight success in the competition.
Adamson recently introduced second-string starlets Robbie Dace, Russ Driver, Neil Wring and 18-year-old Matt Collins, who scored last weekend's winner in the 2-1 victory over Timsbury, to the first-team fold.
And he said: "I told them that if they performed well against Timsbury they would definitely stay in the side and they didn't let us down.
"Admittedly, I thought we would be nearer the top than we are, but if we finish on a high and get a third League Cup success under our belt, it will fuel all our appetites for next season."
Meanwhile, Shirehampton bid to turn up the heat on their title rivals away against Mangotsfield while Cutters Friday seek a route back to top-three contention at home to Burnham United.
Cleeve West Town, who gave their escape chances a lift with a superb 2-1 midweek victory at second-placed Frome, travel to bottom club Odd Down Reserves.
In Division I, teenager Jack Morgan should retain his place on the left of midfield for promotion chasers Fry Club, who visit Ilminster Town.
Fry's, who have suffered just one defeat in their last 11 games, recently lost influential midfielder Shaun Green to a medial ligament injury, offering Morgan an opening.
And boss Malcolm Beck pledged: "We've not given up hope of catching St George at the top."
Brislington Reserves host Peasedown Athletic having closed the gap between themselves and a promotion spot to just three points thanks to Wednesday's terrific 1-0 win at home to leaders St George EIG.
