The play tells the story of Father Time who has been kidnapped and, as a result, time has stopped.
It is now up to three children, Tom, played by 14-year-old Jacob Asghar, Charlotte, played by Maddy Glover, aged 13 and Josephine, played by Ashleigh Westgate, aged 12, to find him and start time once again. The trio come across Noah, Neptune and the Goblin King on their journey before they find Father Time, played by 15-year-old Cai Merryweather, and bring him back.
The youngsters have been also been involved in making some of the costumes for the show.
Nailsea School head of drama and play director, Meg Kocziban, said: "The students have been working really hard in rehearsals for this production.
"As well as rehearsing twice a week, they have also had imput into the costume design and although we have hired some of the outfits, the students have also made some of them."
The play opened on Wednesday and runs until tomorrow night. Doors open at 7pm.
Tickets are available from the school foyer priced at £4.50 for adults and £3 for children and concessions.
