NHS workers to meet over pay
A MEETING of health workers is being held in Bristol over concerns about the introduction of a regional body to set pay and conditions for NHS staff.
The meeting tomorrow has been organised by unions Unite and the Royal College of Nursing at the Future Inn, Cabot Circus, from 7pm to 9pm to discuss the impact of plans by 20 trusts in the South West to negotiate pay and terms on a regional basis. They argue that the consortium will lead to a reduction in pay and the erosion of current terms and conditions.
