N-Gaged is new Bristol Rovers home strip sponsor
Bristol Rovers will have the name N-Gaged on the team's home strip after the club held a draw to find a local sponsor.
The club teamed up with the Bristol Evening Post to offer one local business the chance to have their company logo emblazoned across the front of the famous blue-and-white quarters of Bristol Rovers for the upcoming season.

“So, the company who won the draw have Bristol Rovers directors as directors of that company ? Did they declare that prior to the draw ? I have to say that it smacks of remarkably bad judgement by those directors if they didn't declare their interest. I have no doubts that the draw itself was fair and above board but the directors should have at least declared their interest or, better still, not took part in the draw.”

“Surely with Geoff Dunford and Nick Day as directors of N-Gage and Toni Watola as secretary of both N-Gage and BRFC this raises a few questions about a conflict of interests?”

“Match day announcer Nick Day is also listed as one of N Gaged directors along with Dunford. There is also a picture of day with the balls prior to the draw.”

“NS you are correct...
Geoff Dunford is listed as a Director of N-Gaged and is also a Director of BRFC.
The company was only formed in October 2008, so nothing much else to add.
Good old Dunford, keeping up the tradition of Rovers Directors getting their company's name on the shirt. Bet it cost the bloke from Cowlin a lot more than £6k though.
I'll bet the other unlucky ticket-holders are chuffed to bits!
Oh well it's all in the luck of the draw...”
