Musical line-up announced for Bristol's Grillstock Festival

KITTY Daisy & Lewis will lead the musical line up at this summer’s Grillstock festival in Bristol.

The trio of siblings will headline the festival with their eclectic 1950’s styled sound of “thigh-slapping traditional rhythm and blues”, while the BBQ’s smoke away in the background.

The band has supported Coldplay on their US tour and are to release a new album this year.

They will be joined by Tennessee born singer songwriter Valerie June with her own brand of “organic moonshine roots music”.

    “I paid £15 (although was told it was 2 for £25) for the Saturday, with other people I spoke to paying different amounts. Given that they were supposed to cost a tenner, it would appear the staff in charge at the gates were skimming off a little for themselves.

    Festival was ok, though food/beer was over priced and under portioned.”
