Murder jury to hear defence
The defence of four men accused of murdering 26-year-old Shaun Godfrey begins next week at Bristol Crown Court.
Nathan Sargent, 24, of Linton Road, Bedminster, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He denies murder, as do Michael Hodge, 20, of Fulford Road, Hartcliffe, and Mark Starr, 20, whose address has been withheld by the court.
Jason Williams, 18, of Whitland Road, Hartcliffe, faces a murder charge but has been ruled unfit to stand trial due to his learning disability. The case continues.
