Multi-storey car park is needed
THE recent aerial photographs of the old Temple Meads station show hundreds of parked cars which belong to rail travellers.
I hope the city council in their forthcoming plans for redevelopment will include a large multi-storey car park to accommodate at least as many cars as are currently parked within and without the Digby Wyatt (not Whyatt) train shed.
Presumably the road layout outside the new station entrance from the Friary will enable buses on the proposed Bus Rapid Transit 2 (bendy bus) route to turn there, instead of leaving passengers to walk 400 metres from the other side of Temple Circus roundabout?
