Motorcyclist in fatal village accident named
POLICE have named the victim of a fatal crash in a village near Weston-super-Mare.
Motorbike rider John Ivison, who was 76 and from Exeter, died at the scene of the accident at the junction of Brean Road and Rectory Way in Lympsham on Sunday afternoon.
A 72-year-old man from North Somerset has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed in connection with the incident.
Police are appeal for anyone with information to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
