Mother Danah Vince appears in court charged with murdering daughter Paris Vince-Stephens
A MOTHER has appeared in court accused of the murder of her three-month-old baby.
Danah Vince, 18, of Mendip Road, Portishead, appeared before Bristol Magistrates’ Court today charged with murdering Paris Vince Stephens on January 14.
Wearing a blue hooded top and dark jeans, Ms Vince spoke only to confirm her name and date of birth in the five-minute hearing.
She was also charged with causing or allowing the death of a child between January 1 and January 15. No plea was entered to either charge.

Ms Vince was remanded in custody to appear before Bristol Crown Court on Monday, when a bail hearing is expected to be held before a judge.
Paris was taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary on January 11 with a serious head injury after an ambulance was called to an address in Fane Close, Henbury. She did not recover from her injuries and died on January 14.
Paris’ father William Stephens, 24, of Fonthill Road, Southmead, has also been charged with the murder of the child.
He has denied the charge and remains in custody awaiting his next court appearance.
