After losing their opening three matches of the new Championship season, Moseley have hit form in recent weeks, winning three games in a row.

The fixture computer dealt them a tricky start to the campaign, handing them a home match against Exeter, a trip to Cornish Pirates and a clash with Nottingham inside the opening three weeks.

After those three matches they had shipped 138 points – but they have since hit their stride, winning successive games against Doncaster, Coventry and Plymouth Albion.

Of all the Championship sides, Moseley possibly have the closest relationship with a Guinness Premiership club – and their partnership with Gloucester has proved extremely beneficial in recent years.

Current Bristol duo Dan Norton and Jack Adams spent much of last season on loan at Moseley while on Gloucester's books and were part of the Moseley side that beat Leeds in the EDF Energy National Trophy final at Twickenham.

And this season, Gloucester players Tristan Roberts, Rupert Harden, Shaun Knight, Yann Thomas, Dan Williams, Jordi Pasqualin, Freddie Burns, Jonny May, Henry Trinder, Charlie Sharples and Charlie Simpson-Daniel are all signed at Moseley on dual registration terms.

Of those, only Roberts, May and Williams have featured regularly so far for Moseley this season – but the Midlands club are likely to use all 11 dually-registered players at some stage this term.

Also on Moseley's books are former Bath and Ospreys scrum-half Andy Williams, who won the most recent of his five Wales caps in June 2007, and ex-Bath and Gloucester man Rob Thirlby.

Canada winger Justin Mensah-Coker is another Moseley man with international experience, while prop Terry Sigley gained vast Premiership experience while with Gloucester and Sale.

Former Bristol players Andy Reay and Chevvy Pennycook are also members of the Moseley squad.
