A mixed Morris dancing group are to perform a play based on the life of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
The group Rag Morris, who wear brilliantly coloured rag shirts and bells, will perform the newly-written mummers' play at various Brunel-related locations around Bristol on Saturday September 12.
A mummers' play is a type of traditional folk play performed by amateurs in villages and towns for hundreds of years.
The plays often features a hero figure and are normally performed in the open air, by a group who travel from one location to another to present the play a number of different times to different audiences.
The play will take place only a few days before the 150th anniversary of Brunel's death.
